WHAT TO EXPECT:
Scooped in Dallas & Daum Gallery present Eye Candy: a month-long art show and event series that flips the traditional gallery experience on its head. Think: high-energy, colorful, design-forward, with candy everywhere, a delicious still-life display, free art supplies, original artwork of all sizes covering every square inch of wall space, and a few funky furniture finds. It will still be elevated and curated, but way more welcoming and dynamic than what people typically expect from a gallery setting.
Scooped has built a serious cult following (30K+ on Instagram) and has been featured in D Magazine as one of the best vintage home goods Instagram accounts, so Daum Gallery with Scooped felt like the perfect way to create something new for Dallas.
We will showcase 30 local artists and over 300 original works, with a big focus on accessibility. Our curated collection includes many pieces priced at $300 and under so people can discover incredible talent and actually take something home. The goal is to break down that barrier between “just looking” and “I’m ready to collect.”
What makes this especially exciting is the mix: seasoned collectors, first-time buyers, design lovers, and curious newcomers all in the same room. It’s the kind of environment where someone buying their first original piece is standing next to a serious collector, and both are equally into it.

April 11: Opening Show | 11-5pm
We do expect a line, so get here early! Sponsored by Texas Ale Project, and showcasing the Master's Opening on our outdoor patio man cave area. Shop, have a drink, and hang out!
April 16: Male Nude Figure Drawing | 7-9 pm
This is a ticketed event and a private session for up to 15 lucky ladies. Our firefighter model will hold three poses for 30 min each. Drawing supplies and fine wine will be provided for this spicy experience All talent levels welcome. Limited instruction will be available.
April 18: Little Van Gogh | 10am & 2pm
Bring your kiddos to the gallery for a fun filled day of making art you will treasure forever. 2 session available. Limited tickets so grab your spot!
April 22: Earth Day Sound Bath | 7-8pm
Join us for a guided immersive experience designed to help you slow down and reset. Bring a yoga mat, a pillow and wear your comfies. Limited tickets available.
April 23: The Denim Whisperer | 12-4pm
Dallas's very own Denim Whisperer will be at the gallery working her magic with a giant inventory of jeans for her to fit you in! If you don't know, she has a viral following for being able to simply look at you and fit you in the perfect pair of jeans! Enjoy some bubbles, shop jeans, art and jewelry = the perfect afternoon!
April 30: Taylor Teaches Pallet Knife Class | 6:30-8:30 pm
Learn how to make your very own floral pallet knife piece! All supplies included. Limited spaces for up to 15 people.
May 2: Final Sale | 11-5pm
We will be discounting any remaining artworks and celebrating the end of the Eye Candy event!
